There's gonna be thousands of data centers across the nation and world that hold several backups of whatever you have. All with high level physical security, innovative and inventive software security, and a ton of stuff that will keep your family photos safer than they are on your hard drive at home. All of this so that you can run your games faster, do things smarter, and hold onto more of your life. This has been coming for a long time, and it's what the user asked for.
@Civsuccess2
Not yet but it's in the pipes in the very near future. RemoteFX already lets you dedicated graphics card and that delivered over ICA protocol will give you the crisp feel and intense graphics necessary for making this possible. Stay tuned!!!
So many of you think that if your data is in the cloud, it's not secure. Do you guys even realize you guys use cloud technology everyday? What about facebook, yahoo, google, your own company website?? All you do is move everything from dispersed location to one central secure location that you only have private access to and only you control access to and from that network. Nothing gets more secure than this. If you lose your laptop, you didn't lose any data. Get out of your shell!
@dhansel001
You guys are Naive. Part of Cloud Computing is Geographically dispersed data redundancy. In fact, that very reason IS one for which people employ it.
Ok… what if the thunderstorm hits your building? Do you get to keep all your data?
And that global leader you're talking about, if you keep your data inhouse instead of the datacenter, you don't think he is powerful enough to just walk in and take all your stuff? Very naive! May be polite to keep your brain farts to yourself.
@rush269330 you will know soon enough about privacy of your data. You will be the one who would go against cloud computing first. Buddy its not that simple. People wont have any privacy and thats the truth. Future would tell you so lets just wait

I know because I build and support cloud delivery systems day in and day out. All arguments against cloud computing here are baseless and kinda lame. I could probably come up with better ones myself in spite of being a proponent of it but I could come up with much more against end point based computing. Stone Age technology!
@Civsuccess2 Who's ping lag is too high? If you have anything less than 30 ms, you can get REALTIME feedback and performance. That can be achieved with your 9.99 DSL these days. Where the hell do you guys learn about networking? Your hard disk itself has a minimum latency of 5-6 ms in its best days. Private networks such as MPLS and Metro-E can achive pings so low that your command prompt won't even register a millisecond on it! Get out much?
so u looking for magic its same computer like yours just with bigger capacity of storage .people just didn't realize they just pushing today's headache for tomorrow ,which the tomorrow (next week next month or year) comes anyway
What is going to happen to all the jobs?…Everyone is for moving forward and using innovation…What is going to happen to all the jobs? I am a young IT professional, I wonder if the people in the auto plants in Detroit asked the same question when the first automated machines you being installed in the factories…What is going to happen to all the jobs? Why can't people see we are innovating our way into unemployment???
For one their are redundant systems. Users cloud data is generally stored at numerous locations. Second what you just said is very tin foil hat like and can be implemented whether or not you are using cloud computing. Currently programs already do that, and example being Office 365, if you don't pay for the subscription you cannot use what you created with it. Other companies are following suite to do the same thing.
anyone who plays furturistic games where its pretty much, mass corps taking over like Skynet, Aperture Science, CTos, you notice that they are all the same, the adds sound the same and they're evil too, were doomed

ok, so we heard all of the pro's, but what about the con's?
Can cloud computerization be used to play first person shooting game? Nope.
I think this not gonna work

the whole point is the lag time. Ping is too high. It's not possible.

SNYKET.'NUFF SAID.
@dhansel001 How about encrypting the data you put on the cloud and store it in multiple locations/ multiple media?
Denying technological innovation is exactly like the one who always follows the leader of new advancement particularly in the corporate world !!!
its a lie..

@sheepskin47 hey I'm from the future in 2012 and now it hasn't ended haha 😛
really informative and interesting
great video thanks
This is a joke clouds come n go and u cant actually stand on a cloud when ur up there it looks like fog
this is equal to our online Banks technology
This isn't progression, it's a scam. An attempt to charge you money for giving you the "illusion" of security, much like TSA.
Good news for Big Brother. So it is not 1984 but 2019.
thank
Skynet…
Cool story bro. No one knows when the world will end.
No end if Intel has planned that 🙂
grab your tinfoil hats!
The funny thing about the internet: if a bureacracy tries to control it, bye bye bureacracy.
Didn't end. Prophecies are bull. There is no god, no magic, only statistics and probability.
ITS SKYNETS VOICE
that make sense and the reason why the world will end is because this world is fading away and things will be hard to maintain by humankind
A quarter of the worlds population is 1.75 billion, the worlds population recently hit 7 billion. Just thought I might let people know 🙂
the voice is awesome!
very good!!

What if someone hacked the cloud?
everyone talking about techy stuff and im just here think the voice-over woman has a really sexy voice …
The beginning of our end

There are a lot of videos on the Intel website about cloud computing which I can learn from!

this is news that is newto me i am going to have a great time enjoying this information
This video is full of marketing nonsense.
Anyone 2020? Only me? Okey
